Prague Dragon Autumn

is going to be organized.

This celebration of dragon sport, festival full of sport events, parade of cultural performances and a splendid fun event will take place in the Cinda restaurant and the surrounding area on Cisarska louka island in Prague.

Sport part of festival will offer to participants traditional Chinese style race events (according to IDBF specification and rules) and original Indonesian boats race (according to Tanjung-Pinang festival race rules) There are both short and long distance races on the program. We gladly invite both sport teams and fun or corporate teams to take part in our competition. this year we are expeciting teams from Czech republic, Germany, Indonesia, Poland and Slovakia.

This year of Tanjung-Pinang cup will be under the auspices of Mr Azis Nurwahyudi, Chargé d’Affaires of Indonesian Embassy in Prague. Councelor will be present at the festival in person where he will give the special trophy to the winner of Tanjung-Pinang cup. All trophies to this cup are kindly donated by Indonesian Embassy.

The Sport part of festival will include following races.

- 250 meters long race - in mixed and open category.

- 1000 meters long race - with turn

- The Tanjung Pinang cup - Indonesian boats race on 600 meters long race track with one turn.

- as a premiere a 9km long race (as part of the "Liga dlouhých tratí (LDT)" tournament)

- recessive race - Pulling the boat

- recessive race - One man race - "Qu-Yuan cup"- only one man or woman on the boat.

- and a very famous and very loved competetion "O nejzapálenìj¹í tým" (The most enhusiastic team) - a challenge to find the team that shows the biggest zeal for the competition, the greatest team spirit, the deepest sense for fair-play, but also shows the best costumes or battle shout or simply makes the best fun.

Culture program

- The awakening of the dragon ritual

- Dragon dance exhibition

- special appearance of Indonesian dances provided by native Indonesians. Performace provided under sponsorship from Indonesian Embassy

- many dance performances provided by and in cooperation with dance group "Trn v Oku" (Link to web) and Kintari foundation (Link to web)

- Saturday night dragon party with live band Kungpao
